Want the BRZ but can't find one

Hey guys,

New to the forums but wanted y'alls opinion.

I am wanting a premium or limited White BRZ but anytime a deal has one it is already sold. I have been told the FRS is easier to find and order because suby isn't producing a lot of BRZ?

My question is for the people that own the BRZ, did you consider the FRS and was it worth getting/wait for the BRZ? I actually like the FRS front end better but like everything else about the BRZ more. I love the seat material, standard nav/hid and so on.

Am I going to have to wait until next year to get into a BRZ? and is it worth the wait?

Thanks!

I'd say wait and get the car you want. If you like the BRZ's differences more than you like the FR-S nose, wait for it.

If you're willing to pay for shipping, or take a road trip, there are BRZs available out here. Anchor Subaru in RI has a white premium AT and a WRB premium MT sitting on the lot. I'm sure there are others if you call around, those are just the ones I drive by every day.

hmmmm...not bad advice. For some reason I was thinking to only look local. I guess it would be worth seeing if any honest dealers can work with me over the phone!

You will most likely have to travel to get your BRZ. Mine is coming into a town about 2.5 hours away. There are some coming into my town and closer towns surrounding me but they are either already sold or the dealer has raised the price due to demand I guess.

I'm taking a (rather huge) road trip to pick mine up, there seem to be a ton of spare BRZs up north.

Sales people at several local Subaru dealers explained it to me like this...BRZ allocations are 1 per dealer plus up to 10 more based on prior WRX sales over the past several quarters. Large volume dealers will have many, smaller volume dealers not so many.

Texas seems to have very few BRZ's. I'm actually living in NYC now and plan on moving to Dallas. I'm thinking im going to buy one up here and bring it down to TX.
