we exchanged PM's on his last post, told me he would let me know when the intake was off the car as he was waiting for the turbo. wanted me to send the payment before any of that happened, so proceed with caution...

Told me the same, sent me a paypal invoice before we agreed on price. Told me he was using the money to pay for the turbo install. Just recently told me it was sold so idk.

I presume I'm the one he sold it to. I was invoiced and paid immediately. Can you tell me the date/time stamp on the invoice he sent you? The fact that he told you it was sold has me hopeful.

He sent me an invoice on the 3/27/14 @ 10:55pm. Hopefully it was before you.

Oh definitely, mine is 3/31. Fingers crossed. I think he's pretty young and on an Army base atm. I did get talk to him over the phone a little so I have reasonable expectations. Even though it's unorthodox and not advisable to do a transaction this way, as a fellow vet I was willing to cut him some slack and give the benefit of the doubt for now.
