Stock rims +coilovers +spacers +LCAs

I just ordered BC coilovers from reworks to get the ball rolling. When they come in, they will also be installing them for me. I've been looking into spacers since I'm keeping the stock rims for now. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've seen most are recommending 20mm front and 25mm for rear with the stock rims. I may be heading that route also. I've seen the existing threads about this already and no one talks about stock rims +coilovers+spacers+LCAs. Any pics? Did anyone not use LCAs with this set up?

You'll want the LCAs if you're doing anything more than an inch drop for the camber adjustments.

Spacers are a must in my opinion, otherwise your car will look like this:

Thanks for your input. Do you have any pics lowered more than an inch with stocks, LCAs and spacers?

Sorry I don't have anything with spacers since those are just my winter rims, those pics are lowered 1.4inches with LCAs.

I don't get what's wrong with the picture above. Is it just you guys are looking to keep the wheels flush even though they are set slightly in when stock?

Essentially yes, once someone posts a pic with spacers you'll see how much better it looks (which i guess is a matter of opinion)

I chose not to run spacers. I know the downsides from the truck world with them.

I have BC Extreme drops and stocks. Just installed last week. I will get LCAs at some point. Rears are worse than fronts though. I don't mind them tucked in.

How low is that drop?

It dropped around 2 1/4" I think. I can go lower too, but that's pushing it getting in the driveway. Here's measurements, you'll have to measure your stock one if you want as well

So are the LCA options available going to be adjustable to accommodate adjustable height coilovers?

I assume correcting the camber with just LCA's will further tuck in the entire wheel, which leads to the desired spacers? I dropped my boosted mini tacoma 7" on custom suspension... taking such measures as replacing control arms on an approx. 1-2" drop is relatively new to me.

Thx OP, i was looking into your same questions and your thread opened the door. BTW, Are all people who want to both lower and track the car needing to upgrade rear axles, as other threads have covered? or just the slammed guys?

LCA for the rear help to reduce the amount or rear camber you get when you lower the car. I only dropped my car 12.5-1.5 inches and the rear wheels have -2.5 camber.

The spacers just help to make the wheels/tires more flush with the fenders, but since they are needed you could always lower the car and then decide if you want/need spacers.

Depends how low you go...rear axles aren't really the issue, its the angle they have to work(so if you angle the aftermarket/stronger axles they can still break too). When you lower the car, it puts more stress on them. If you are serious about tracking, you probably wont be slamming your car anyway. But, right now, the only option we have is for diff/subframe risers(if you want to properly deal with it). However, with the risers you have to drop the whole subframe to get everything in properly.
I wouldn't worry about the diff/subframe risers right now though.

they have spacers and have specifically used them for flushing the OEM wheels on the FRS.

Great responses guys. Since LCAs are visible from the rear I want to go with either black or red to match my colors. Can anyone recommend any good ones? Also, what's the difference between LCAs and camber arms?
