Product Details

The 2013 Scion FRS, Subaru BRZ, and Toyota 86 is a great vehicle platform, collaborated on and offered by 3 heavy hitters in the auto industry. In its relatively short existence it has been hugely embraced by the aftermarket parts industry and Tuners alike. While the overall response to the vehicle has been great, it has come to our attention that the factory sound system is lacking a good low end. We have subsequently designed and manufactured one of our Integrity Enclosures to help owners solve this need for bass. As with most sports cars, space is at a premium, so we have molded our enclosure to fit snugly into the corner of the trunk. Our enclosure design utilizes the trunks dead space and takes up as little truly valuable cargo space as possible, yet offers enough sealed airspace and depth to work well with a variety of subwoofers. Our integrity Enclosure is constructed of thick hand laid fiberglass to be strong and durable yet lightweight and compact. Taking every detail into consideration, we have even formed it in such a way that performance tuners can still use an aftermarket rear upper strut bar in conjunction with this enclosure. Enclosure Features and Specifications

• Passenger Side 8" sealed enclosure only (Right side - when standing behind car looking into trunk).
• Finished in carpet to match the OEM trunk liner (other finishes available upon request).
• Approximately 0.40 cu. ft. sealed.
• Manufactured from hand laid fiberglass to approximately 1/4” thick (comparably rigid to ¾” MDF on the flat, and stronger in the curves).
• Between 10 lbs. - 12 lbs. total enclosure only weight.
• 7.125" inner diameter mounting ring - industry standard and fits most 8" woofers (contact us if a larger opening is needed as we can adjust it during the manufacturing process).
• Recessed subwoofer mounting ring with an overall diameter of 8.75”.
• Large mounting depth houses up to approx. 5.5” deep woofer with 5.5” wide magnet (fits most 8" woofers on the market)(Because this area is tapered the overall mounting depth increases as the magnet diameter decreases, so contact us with your specific subwoofer parameters if it is close or you are unsure of fitment).
• ¾” thick MDF sub mounting ring sandwiched between multiple layers of fiberglass CSM forming an extremely rigid front baffle that is fully integrated with the enclosure and can be screwed into again and again.
• Back of enclosure coated with a thick layer of spray on acoustical sound deadening.
• Filled with polyfill acoustical dampening material for a smoother bass response.
• Gold plated bolt through speaker terminal pair that accept up to 8 gauge wire.
• Included is 2 - 3 ft. of 12 gauge twisted speaker wire inside the enclosure.
• Included mounting brackets are designed to hold your enclosure securely in place yet allow quick and easy tool less removal of the enclosure within seconds for simple access to the spare or for track days.
• No drilling into the vehicle or cutting of the trunk liner will be required to secure this enclosure, meaning you can return your vehicle back to factory condition, which is perfect for those leasing their vehicle.
• Designed to allow the use of aftermarket rear upper strut bars.
• 5 year limited warranty on enclosure manufacturing defects (improper installation, accidents, wear and tear, and abuse will not be covered)
• Manufactured and assembled in the US with the highest levels of attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

** This enclosure will fit perfectly in the right side corner of the trunk, on top of the factory carpeted spare tire cover and in front of the factory carpeted trunk wall. It was not designed to be installed with an add on trunk floor mat or cargo tray in place, therefore we cannot guarantee a perfect fit of our enclosure in those circumstances.

• Optional pressure fit carbon steel pressed grill with trim ring can be added to this enclosure at any time (Trim ring can be color customized - painted or wrapped in suede or vinyl and grill can be color customized.)
• The enclosure’s internal airspace can be adjusted, during the manufacturing process, to any volume below its standard 0.40 cu. ft. for a more accurate match to your woofer’s recommendations.
• An extra pair of gold plated speaker terminals can be added to the enclosure.
• This 8” enclosure can be modified to house a 6” woofer.
• The enclosure can be wrapped in various finishes, custom painted, or even overlaid in real carbon fiber.
• Additional customization requests are always welcome.

• A $100.00 deposit is all that is needed to put your name on the list to receive one of the first production enclosures off the line, and secure this special pre order sales price!
  
• Deposit will be non-refundable as it will be used to help fund a portion of the cost of making the molds.
  
• Once the production mold is finished and the first products are being manufactured you'll be contacted about the available options you may like with your enclosure. Once all the details are settled you will receive an invoice with the remaining due plus shipping charges.
  
• You will need to pay the invoice that includes the remaining due before your item will be shipped.
  
• We will fill the pre orders in the order they are received.

Brief Details About Shipping Estimates

We will ship the final product insured using UPS Ground for orders in the US, and USPS Priority for international orders. Contact us via PM, email, or our contact form with your city and area code for an estimate of the shipping charges that would be due before your product ships. Please be aware that if you are attempting to calculate your own shipping charges through the UPS or USPS websites, dimensional weight is applied at roughly 32 lbs. by the carriers because of the size of the shipping box (18”x18”x16”). Also our rate quotes may be less based on our agreement and volume shipped with them. If a faster shipping method is desired, please contact us.

Do you guys have a recommended amp installation location? If not, maybe v2 of this enclosure could include some sort of amp mount. I found it a little difficult to figure a good location to install an amp that is out of the way but still gets adequate cooling.

I'm not sure if this will help you out but I decided to mount mine in the top portion of the trunk. It is out of the way and has no air restrictions.

I'm not sure about Alpine amps, but the instructions that came with my Rockford amp said not install them upside-down for heat dissipation reasons. I'm sure it's fine as long as you're not running full power for long durations, but yeah that is a good location. I've seen some great installs of smaller amps (but right-side-up) in a fabricated rack at that location. I would love for somebody to produce that rack for others to buy.

We want to sincerely apologize for our lack of communication over the last few weeks. We are currently moving our shop and it has cut into production more than we anticipated. We hope to be back to full function by the end of next week. I will update on the progress of our enclosures as soon as I get everything unpacked and am able to make an accurate assessment.

Things are really coming together and starting to get back to normal around here! We are no where near 100% again but we are seeing many of the processes come back in line. We finally finished getting our compressor wired up, plumbed, and running yesterday which is a huge necessity for the trimming and finishing steps. We have several Passenger side 10" enclosures waiting to be trimmed, several more awaiting the sound deadening treatment, and even a couple waiting for primer in preparation for paint. As soon as we get some of these Passenger side 10" enclosures moving through these processes and shipping again (especially for those who are still patiently waiting from the original pre order), I will start back on the 3 other production molds (8" Passenger side and 8" / 10" Driver side) where we left off. I am hoping this will be at the beginning of next week if all goes smoothly!

This move has been extremely overwhelming and as we all know time consuming, but we are very excited to see it all come back together in our new shop space, which is more than double the size of our last one. This space should allow little to no juggling of the various steps in the same areas (like we had to do before) thus saving time and hopefully increasing our production.
