The need to keep the BHP on par with the WRX at least with the Subaru Versions, not talking STI just saying WRX.

Except WHP of that supercharger is lower than WHP of the electric Phantomcharger which has no parasitic load on the engine while in use and can be labelled a hybrid in the loosest meaning of the word.
