Because Scion is strict and audits every dealership, for example if a dealership is found to be breaking Scion's "pure pricing" policy they won't be allowed to sell Scion's ever again.

because brz owners are likely more high maintenance than frs owners. there are like 100 more sticky threads in that forum.

Because with Pure Price they are upfront with their pricing.

The pricing may be b.s. they may try to sell you crap you don't need, they may try to pull a switcheroo on you but at the end of the day they're just another Toyota dealership, one that can't slap on a sudden upcharge for no reason.

That unexpected upcharge for no reason is why the Subaru blacklist thread exists. If you actually look at it that's the primary purpose of the thread, dealers try to sell a car then all of a sudden it isn't the advertised price or the price on the sticker of the car. It was disgustingly common when these cars came out but as demand was satisfied dealerships got less greedy.

You're better off looking at other review sites, any shadiness would show up there as opposed to here where posters are less likely to put up with b.s. because we're enthusiats. Most of us would rather walk away and take our business elsewhere and not bother making a post about it.

Look in the regional forum for your area. The southeast region has stickies for dealerships to buy from and to avoid. If your region doesn't have one, start one.

Most likely, dealers want to drop the Scion brand. Low-margin vehicles with low sales numbers.
