Flossy Grip-Lock
Has anybody here picked one of these up? The fitment is for STI; but Chad from Flossy says that he has sold them to FR-S/BRZ owners with no complaints. I was hoping that someone here has one installed and take a few pics so I can see what it looks like before I decide to bite the bullet and pick one up. I really hate the feel of the stock plastic reverse lockout!

Nevermind...I think I'm going with a short shift kit in the near future and that will replace my lockout ring. Still picking up the shift knob though!

On our stock lockout there's a shape that looks like /-------\ <-- where the sides are angled and long enough to apply enough resistance to keep the shift boot in place. I got the perrin lockout recently and found out it didn't fit with JPM boot because the perrin has a less extreme angle and length to the conical sides. Which reminds me I need to return the perrin lockout...

That is what I was afraid of...plus I am thinking about the twm short shifter eventually that replaces the entire mechanism; so i would only get a year or so of use out of it.
