ECUTEK PLEASE GIVE US Map Comparator

Dear Ecutek,
I felt like this last night when we attempted to tune my vehicle.
We made a mistake and didn't copy over some values correctly or a table(we still don't know what the mistake was). I was going off a base map a friend supplied to me. If we had this tool we would have seen the error quickly and not wasted 5 hours of our life. Luckily my friend suggested starting over again from his map.

Help us,
COrn Goblin

P.S. Even BRZedit has this feature...

RomRaider does this really well too. Not with Ecutek maps, unless they release map definitions.

Tuner Pro offers a good difference tool too. With the option of even copying defined map data to or from the comparison file. Now THAT is useful!

I gotta take another crack at that. I found the RomRaider comparison worked great and was simple and intuitive.. I tried doing a comparison/table copy between two ROMs in TunerPro and gave up after about 15 minutes of wrestling with it... I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong.

You can copy/paste whole maps with ecutek, and the master tuner version has the comparison tool, we just need it released to the commoners

Tunerpro drives me nuts. No units or map descriptions makes it damn near impossible to comprehend without prior knowledge.

Brzedit has a great tool for this as well, as does romraider as stated above.

When using the difference tool, limit searches to defined parameters. Or else it will find every single difference in the ROM which will bog it down and take minutes to do. If you limit to defined parameters, it will take may be a second or two.
