Dolphin tip exhaust from gt motoring

there isnt a lot of turn down exhaust systems for the twins and i found this set up for the s2000 from gt motoring. auto factory and cleib comes to the top of my head but with total cost of shipping from japan, the cat back is already $1000+

i emailed them and asked if their is any possibility that they would produce the dolphin tip exhaust and i got this response:

We currently have not plan to develop an exhaust for the FRS/BRZ as it seems most would not be open to our price point of around $775 + depending on spec.

Please vote if you would be interested in this exhaust at the price point.

I think the price point is right, if the quality is there. The exhaust pictured above doesn't look like anything all that special, but I suppose I'd need to see better shots of the welds.

If they could produce something akin to the J's Racing 60RS, although of course not full titanium, I'd say the price point would be just right.

^Easily my favorite exhaust of all time. It looks and sounds amazing. Now if only J's Racing made parts for manufacturers other than Honda...

I'd pay around $775 for something of that quality for sure. Otherwise, I'm looking to get a custom dolphin tip/turn down (whatever you want to call it) exhaust made with a Burns Stainless race muffler.

If you're looking for a turned down tip exhaust, TF-Works makes one. It's not quite a dolphin tip, but it looks and sounds pretty good.

favorite exhaust + exhaust shop + cut off and replace tip = ...wait that's it

I don't think a tip, such an easily replaced part, should dictate what exhaust you get.

What he said. Exactly what I had done using a URAS turn down tip.

Current setup while we build the diffuser:

Pictures aren't working for me, but I'm curious to see what yours looks like. My issue is still that there aren't a lot of options for single exit to begin with, and a lot of them don't seem like they'd look right with a turned down tip. I think the HKS Hi-Power is about the only one that would look right with this style tip. The issue then is that I don't want a 3" exhaust either.

I loved the challange 76TA-S and 76TA-R exhaust for the S2000. I think it would be popular for our platform especially since its a 76mm(3 inch) exhaust setup. I would def be down dor a group buy if they wanted to make a limited run or if they do decide to come out with a version for our car as long as its similar to the s2k design and stays 76mm

I'd actually prefer a 65mm exhaust, since I plan to stay NA for awhile. haha
