RPM Jump
Hello,
So I've owned my car for 2 months now, since the day i bought it I've noticed that if I am in gear and suddenly press on the throttle my RPM will jump around for a bit as it is going up. Is this normal or do you have a problem? |

Had to read that a couple times to comprehend, I honestly thought for a second you thought it was weird the rpm went up when you hit the throttle lmao.
Mine will do it in bumpy roads, shouldn't do it on a nice highway or smooth road. If your in a perfect smooth road doing nice acceleration in say 3 for example with linear throttle input and this happens, could be a problem. Some better/more descriptive wording might help |

Yes it will start jumping on bumpy roads as well, and with linear throttle input this does not occur, but with sudden and quick throttle input it will, no matter what speed I am traveling at, or what gear I am on

I have noticed mine will automatically rev a little if I force it into situations where it might otherwise lug. its not major, but there's definitely some computer control to protect the engine. its most noticeable if you go over a speed bump at about 3mph, then intentionally release and press the clutch. it will rev to avoid stalling. Older cars do not have this behavior and will stall.
