National BackOrder for Seat Belt Assembly

So, along with all the other people at some point on here. I'M NEW. And here's my story. 11 Days after buying my Scion FR-S 10 Series I was involve in a CRASH. A small bump, from another driver, on my back left lead to me spinning out of control and curbing my beautiful 86. A whole new rear suspension had to be put in along with new mags and wheels. Also the Driver Side Airbag curtain deployed. After 2 weeks the car is now fixed and ready to be driven! But...missing a Seat Belt/Seat Belt Assemble, the Toyota/Scion/Lexus collision center told me the Seat Belt Assembly is on a National Back Order. So tomorrow (December 10th) will be the 4th week without a car. Any ideas on what I should do? Anyone to call to get a possible ETA? NATIONAL BACKORDER!!! Having tons of awesome mods sitting in front of me and can't even put these bad boys on! Its Painful!

Get a harness bar and harness! Maybe someone who is parting out their baby has it.

Savannah GA? I spent 3 months there this year and didn't see any FRS except for the guy that lived down the street from me in Pooler. Have you met any other owners?

I thought about that but my seat belt is white...cause of the 10 Series edition, so I guess I'll just wait. And unfortunately not. I haven't seen any other FR-S drivers around. Im really interested in a car scene too, but no luck here in Savannah.

Isn't the seatbelt silver?

I got into a rear end collision in July 2012 and it took 8 weeks for parts to arrive because there were none in the US. Really sucks but the shop said it is pretty common for new cars. They had a Dodge Caravan they waited for months for a seat belt assembly. Hope it gets back to you soon.

DAMN! Looks like I won't be driving anywhere for Christmas/New Years. Guess I'll just keep sitting it out. Thanks

Unfortunately not. I can't even rent a car because I'm only 20.

Thats lame, when my 2011 WRX was in the shop they let me drive around a loaner even though I was only 21-22 at the time

Savannah rocks. I have family down there.

Even if you're underage to rent a car, seems like the dealer should still give you a loaner. Fortunately, depending on where you live, you can get around pretty well on foot & bus.
