The bodywork and stance is a bit much for me, but that engine build is giving me wet tip... Thing if beauty! I wanna hear it run! And by run I don't just mean revving in a parking lot, I mean screaming down a straight and popping through gears in a technical section on a track...

Ditto..seems like a show car (or maybe drift?)

I am more interested in the other 86 that was at the show. A white one iirc, with the ITB inlets pointed vertically upwards and on opposite sides right above the heads. The one with Endless accessories and socks in the engine bay ...that one looked more legit and track oriented.

Great looking engine bay. Rest is just too much.
And that wing... could it get any bigger?

According to reports, the engine isn't running, it is in the process of being built. As the rest of the car seems to be very much form over function, I'd be surprised if he gets it off the salon floor/ground.

This might be the greatest lesson on FT86 forums for all the new modders

That's actually temporarily signature worthy.

The car they said will eventually be finished, Weld has built a bunch of other cars and finished them. The fenders are all metal and made by hand, as well as replacing the fender liners with metal ones. The sculpting in the rear is pretty cool. The guy is apparently very meticulous. Here is a car he built for D1GP.

If it sounds anything like this (mind the low-res video and sound), it will be music to my ears...
