Nitrous set up? Though I seen a post with dyno results.

I thought I seen a post of someone running nitrous but I can't find it. I've seen post on nitrous but not the one that includes dyno numbers. If anyone has the link please share it with me thanks.

The one guy that was dynoing his blew his engine when his clutch slipped. Everyone jumped on him and he said "screw you guys" and didnt post the dyno.

his clutch let go on a 100 shot of NOS.

As explanation of why everyone jumped on him, he didn't have the proper safeguards in place such as rpm window switch, which could have possibly (definitely if set up right) saved his engine.

I was going to say... a slipping clutch causing engine failure?
Maybe if he was completely brain dead with no window switch...... because injecting nitrous during rev limit is fun!

D-Sport just installed the NX kit on their FRS. It made 234whp. I think there is a write up in their latest issue.

234whp probably just the bolt on nitrous express kit + tune?

I always thought e85 + nitrous would be a great mix for this engine

EcuTek has a lot of really nice Custom Mapping features that would be perfect for a Nitrous setup.

We would love to do one!

Thanks for the link. Appreciate it. Wish we can pump e85 in my area.

Damn that wasn't smart of him. Safety first. I don't know of I would even feel safe running 100 shot. A 50 shot yes but then again I would have to see how it looks with the tune.

Do you know if methanol would work on this application

I was thinking that using nitrous on a turboed car, with like maybe just a 25-50 shot at lower rpm's to eliminate turbo lag would be awesome.

Look I know a lot of people dont like the NOS so they get discorage to use it and if they use it they dont post because of the negative comments. Is one of my mods to have later even if I go Turbo with a 25 shot just becuas eI am building a show/circuit car and it looks good to have a nitrous botthe in the rear between the seat where the lump is.

Amateurs don't use nitrous. I've seen the way you drive, you got a heavy foot, you'll blow yourself to pieces.
