18x9.5 e38

Will a 18x9.5 e38 Vordovens clear stock struts and not rub on the brz? This is a debatable topic but there were some wheels on CL that I saw that I'm interested in but they are this size. I know some say that it clears and dont rub barely while others say they don't clear. I'm on eibach springs and lowered like an inch. TJ hunt ran a 18x9.5 +38 offset but he said that he couldn't clear the stock struts but I've heard others who had. If someone can help me that would be great. TY forum.

18x9 +35 is already very close to stock struts, the need for spacers or coils would be mandatory for safe driving. Spacers would make the wheels poke out a considerable amount past the fenders, though, at stock height rubbing would not be a problem.

Looks like you will be dealing with a lot of poke and have to run a decent amount of camber and/or stretch - http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11222
