EMS shipping brokerage fees? - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Hey,

I'll be buying stuff from China soon and it will be shipped by EMS, I was just wondering if anyone has had past experience with them and if they got charged brokerage fees at all.

nop many chinese companies like ddm tuning ship thru them and no problem so far.
they delivered to ur local usps office

Canada post over here ;P, and I ordered some stuff for my car from @F-T that shipped by EMS but I wasn't sure if I just lucked out, the stuff I'm going to be ordering now is going to be quite a bit more expensive 500$ in parts for iPhones, iPads, and iPod touchs and what not.

EMS, as in Express Mail Service? That's just your regular post office, it's an internationally agreed level of express service with a guarenteed delivery. If you pay to have something shipped Express, that's all you're paying for, there are no additional fees.

I've gotten a couple things shipped from China via EMS, haven't ever paid any fees in addition to what I paid the seller. However, I have had items shipped from Japan where customs stepped in and I had to pay duty/customs on the shipment. I don't live in Canada, but it comes down to your importing laws, but honestly I wouldn't sweat it until it happens - it's usually no more than 10-20 USD.

Now that you mention it. i think when you receive an item via EMS that there is no fees for receiving it

Families and friends in Korea always use EMS internationally and it's just like me sending stuff via USPS here to them.
