Anyone only running a catless front pipe??

So i have the berk track pipe muffler delete on right now, but im missing the dual tips. I know theres a dual tip muffler delete, but for that price i might as well save it for a catback. I was thinking about ordering the invidia catless front pipe and then putting the stock muffler back on for now until i decide whether i want the borla, invidia, or ft86 v1 catback. Anyone running just a front pipe? How does it sound and is there any performace gains?

you should post in Engine, Exhaust, Transmission, ECU section. (people posted many threads about front pipe)
there should be little gain with catless pipe than catted version.

I have the greddy evo 3 and then I had put on the invidia test pipe on and yes it made a little bit louder (was already loud) but that nasty torque dip felt better not as bad I have the over pipe on order and should have it installed in the next week or soo well see how that goes but for the cost of the front pipe I think it was worth it feels abit quicker too

I run that front pipe with the stock catback. You get a nice sound while the car is warming up. Quiets down once warm. Good throaty sound when WOT going to the higher rpms. It's not much louder than stock, but give a better in cabin sound.

Im running a j2 catless pipe. It sounds nice deep but only low to mid. After that the engine noise covers it. If u run it with the track pipe itll b loud. My buddy has a setup like that. Sounds beasty.

i am currently running catless front pipe and berk sing muffler delete and it's really really loud. I am taking off muffler delete and put back to stock until i find exhaust i want. it really depends on people's taste but it's not for me.

Catless front pipe and Greddy SP Elite is my favorite setup that I've heard so far. Great sound that isn't loud/annoying when DDing or cruzing, and when you get on it it comes to life even more, but won't get you pulled over for db levels.
The Elite by itself is way too quiet, but with the front pipe it brings out its true sound.
