I, first of all sorry for my english, im french.

I want to have a brz this summer for the university, but I read a lot of problem (the window, the check engine, the tail light, etc....). I just wanna know if this problem will be fix in 2014 or if the problem is already fix now? can I buy a BRZ 2013 in july? when the 2014 will be relalease?

If you do have any of those problems they will be fixed for free due to the warranty.

I wanted to wait as well but ended up getting mine a month ago. I have about ~1500 miles on so far and no problems what so ever. And just like the guy above me me said, it'll get fixed for free.

As flaws develope, especially in newly intoduced vehicles, the manufacturer will take steps to correct those problems in the manufacturing process. My FR-S was built in September and many of the problems encountered with cars produced before mine were eliminated before I got my car. I've had only one problem in 8,000 miles and that is the little rattle from the package shelf area. Subaru/Scion has since come out with a fix for that. I would not hold off for a minute.

yep, mine is Feb 13 made.
So far no problems yet.
No oil leak from plate above the header.
No idle/CEL issue.
Although sometimes I hear small rattle, maybe from the rear shelf area. But that don't bug me much.

You should be good, most of these issues have been corrected. You won't be able to get a 2014 until about October anyway.

While I agree most things have been fixed by now, if you can manage to wait two more months the 2014 will be available. I think it comes out in August or September.

On the other side of the coin, you'll probably get a better deal on a 2013 since they will be trying to make room for the new models.

Your choice really. Either year will be great and you'll love the car!

If this is for school in July and we all know now there will be minimal changes in 2014 model, if any changes at all, I'd also say get the 2013 now and enjoy!
