Black Emblems?

I've had no luck finding black pearl emblems for the FR-S. I don't want to get mine painted or plasti dipped, I'm wanting them to just be made in black. Anyone have any luck? I can't find them anywhere.

Those are nice, but I would really like the Scion ones. And then also the black 86 vent garnishes.

Sorry, misunderstood. Also the Scion emblems I've see were painted or plasti-dipped.

OP since you've got to pull the badges off anyway why not just paint the one's you have?

On japanparts, those items are cheaper. The tails alone are like $300 cheaper.

I've thought about that or just plasti dipping them. But I would rather have someone who knows what they're doing handle it. That way I can have my chrome ones and my black ones.

I can see that. I prefer to have all my factory stuff kickin around just in case it needs to go back on the car for some odd reason.

Painting emblems is pretty simple though. Just make sure you have them as clean as you can get them (no oils or dust) and follow the directions on the can. Nothin to be afraid of that's for sure.

I plasti dipped my grille and emblems on my SC and they look good, but are slowly coming off. But yeah exactly, I just want to have everything just in case I need it reverted back to the original stuff.

plasti-dip and paint are very different beasts though. PD is designed to come off at some point.. paint isn't but when pd chips you can just peel it off and start over. Paint, not so much but the end result I think is nice than pd.

Dunno.. black chrome emblems would be really cool. Unfortunately I dont think anyone makes any.

Some of the older techs at dealers can do it. I know my pop still has the stuff to make emblems gold. Idk about black pearl though.
