HELP WITH MY HOMEWORK!!!
Now that I have your attention, I need some help on a 10 page essay I am writing. Please answer these questions.
#1- How do you feel about The Fast and The furious series of movies? #2- Do you think the depiction of automotive culture is accurate in The Fast and The Furious? #3 Do you agree with the depiction of street racing in The Fast and The Furious? Do you think it is ethical to portray street racing in a negative light? |

1) they're entertaining, but i don't take them seriously at all and don't watch them when i want to watch a GOOD movie.
2) no 3) i have seen some street races in real life that are similar to what is shown in the movies. street racing is an illegal, undesirable, and dangerous activity, so yes, it should absolutely be shown in a negative way.

I think he wants us to write his paper for him. I'd rather help answer math questions.

2. Thankfully, hell no. 3. It's not accurate however I fully agree with portraying street racing as the negative act that it is. I used to goto street races (when I was 18-20) but never raced because even then I knew it was stupid and I had no reason to try to prove anything. It was just a place to meet and talk to other car people. They I found car people at autocrosses and track events and never bothered to go back to the street races.

I think he's just trying to see if he'll fit in here since his favorite movies are F&F. Or maybe not.

1. I've only seen the first in its entirety. I thought it was hilarious. Bits of the second - it didn't seem as funny or entertaining. Tokyo Drift - neater cars, not funny, weeaboo. Haven't seen 4th or 5th at all.
2. ![]() 3. They got the minorities and ugly whores right. Cars were more flamboyant in the movies, but still shitty like in real life. Ethical to portray in a negative light? Sure, it's illegal. |

My answers: 1) I feel disappointed about the series. Except for the third one (Tokyo Drift) 2) I feel a sense of it was BRIEFLY displayed but it was played as a blurry background of the series and was never the center point. I read an article Universal Studios wrote on the series and they admitted that the series was not a "Car movie" and how they want it to be an Action movie. They said Car movies don't bring in the same large amount of people that action movies can. They also showed the age and ethnic groups that would come to watch these movies and they said a majority of them were of the age between 18-24 yrs and were Latinos & African people. I dont remember if it was the Movie reviews section in the LA Times but you can look that one up. 3) [these questions should be separated] I do not agree FULLY with it, but as stated previously, It displays a shortness of the street racing culture. I disagree with racing in public streets, so I wouldn't want it to be portrayed as a positive. Hope this helps and hope you're not doing this at the last minute. lol Is this a research paper of some kind?

I think he just wants OTHER car enthusiast's opinions on how it was displayed. I've always wanted to ask these questions but never had an opportunity to write about it. I don't expect him to turn in these short sentences of ours to complete his ENTIRE 10-page paper, do you? lol
