JDM meet USDM

Can anyone direct me to the link/article where there was a Japanese gentlemen who turned his JDM GT86 into a USDM Scion FRS? It was white, might of been slammed or flushed out, there were some photos of him at a gas station and some tunnel shots too. Been trying to search a variety of keywords, but still cannot find it :/

I remember seeing that. Was that a conversion or an imported Scion? I think he works for Greddy/Trust in Japan.

Now that you mention it, it easily may have been an imported Scion, but I can't remember exactly. I just want the darn article though haha. I thought it was posted on this forum a while back but search isn't helping me with my efforts...

I'm waiting for someone to stick some Buick-style cylinder vents on for a truly flatbill look.

There's a bunch of "Scions" driving around Japan. People swap badges there just like how we do it here. The grass is always greener on the other side I guess.

Large parts companies import scions because it ends up being cheaper than buying a base 86 IIRC.

No problem. The only reason I knew that is because I fell in love with that car also. Makes me think I should have gotten a white car.
