Microsoft in charge of PR. Pretty embarrassing.

Yeah, they probably should have hired a real actor for that... lol

BTW, is it just me or is Microsoft full of fail lately? I've been disappointed with basically everything they've done since Windows Phone 7. They don't even listen to their clients anymore.

I'm not so sure. Everyone I've talked to (I run a computer company) and the videos I've seen online hasn't been too positive. The Surface Pro looks nice though... hopefully that won't be another disappointment.

The 360 is doing well, and smartglass integration is pretty awesome. The Kinect has been found to have tons of applications outside of just Xbox gaming, hence PC dev kits and whatnot. And regardless what people think, Windows 8 isn't the most terrible thing ever. I have it installed on a laptop, and two more copies ready to deploy as soon as Nvelo has their Dataplex support out. Or I get impatient, whichever happens first. I will admit though I was amazed when one of my friends who is very Mac-oriented told me that he likes Win8 so much that he's switching back primarily to Windows.
Can't really say how Windows 8 Phone will do just yet. Win8 RT on a tablet works pretty well though from my brief interaction with one.

edit: If Ethiopian kids, with zero instruction, can figure out a tablet, teach themselves to read, and then bypass the installed security measures on said tablet in five months, anyone can learn Win8.
