Scion TC owners bitter?
So it's one thing to have cars trying to race me and give me stare downs, but I have noticed one recurring trend. The Scion TC owners are the ones giving me the most shit on the road. Do you think it's like a sibling rivalry type thing or the fact they are no longer the top of the totem pole?
I'm just wondering why it seems as if TC owners hate the FR-S. For me today was the tipping point as a white TC sped past and cut me off when there was no logically reason to switch lanes. Then slow down, wait for me at the light and rev...

That was just some stupid kid. The tc and frs are 2 different platforms. Anyone who thinks otherwise is not worth the discussion

New ones have 180hp, let's be nice
![]() The tC is not a real performance car or sports car, just a sporty coupe. It attracts a lot of what I like to call "pretenders", or "would-be" car people. I'm sure I'll get flak for saying this, but it's true. I've been to a lot of Toyota/Scion meets and talked to a lot of people who own them. Not saying they're bad people, either. Just not real performance car enthusiasts. My stepbrother is one of those people. Always goes for a "sporty" car rather than a "sports" car. Before anyone tries it, yes I've seen Chris Rado's cars, and they are about as close to the production car as a NASCAR Camry is to the production model, so please don't waste your breath.

I don't know, I've had a TC owner give me a thumbs up.
I would think TC owners have more reason to be proud with how the FR-S has created a sportier image of the Scion brand, and how cool of a car the TC can be associated with.

My room mate owns a TC and we get along fine.... I haven't come across any haters yet *Knock on wood*. Most just stop and make small talk about how great the car looks.
