3rd car

So I decided on a 3rd practical vehicle, a Nissan juke mismo RS. I'll let the hate flow for a bit... it turns out this is a great vehicle, it's a blast to drive and good on long drives. 215 HP 210 tq, curb weight under 3K it is pretty nimble. So if somebody wants another vehicle thats a bit more practical, i would suggest this.

Frs, tacoma, ninja 650. I don't see how a crossover suv is practical.

I'm also failing on how seeing the Juke is practical. Not that much space in there...

You can actually fit four people in it, which is a point in its favor.

Correct. I had to drive the frs with 3 others over 6 ft. That was rough.

I think 3rd should be full race car.
I got f150 for daily and RAV4 for family trip. I am looking at focus rs or type r for 3rd car.
Full interior delete with some suspension mods is my plan.
Just waiting for r to arrive for full comparison

Never could wrap my head around the concept of buying a brand new car and then gutting it for a full race car. Seems weird to spend all that extra money for the interior and all the extras just to rip it all out and throw it away.

Won't get any hate from me, test drove the Juke NISMO RS and I liked it better than the ND miata. Recaro Sportster CS seats, nicely sorted chassis, direct/precise steering, and good power delivery in a ~2900lb vehicle. If the FR-S was a CUV, it would be the Nissan Juke NISMO RS. Fun little ride.

For me, a 3 vehicle setup would look like this:
1) a sportscar (my '13 FR-S),
2) a pickup (my '13 Nissan Frontier SV King cab, V6, 6spd manual)
3) an 'affordable' performance sedan (something like a '16 Chevy SS, rebadged back to original Holden Commodore status)

Usually everthing interior wise is carefully removed and offered for sale to help recoupe some cost, but yeah instead of buying new a couple year old used model would make a lot more sense....

I've been waiting for Elio to get their act together and actually start making cars, but based on the latest reports of them only having $100K in the bank, and their press release pushing out projected production dates (again...) to 2018, it doesn't look promising. Too bad - a 7000 dollar car that gets 80mpg definitely has my interest; it'd make a great 3rd car by replacing the FRS for daily commute duty.

My current setup:

1. '16 BRZ - The daily. Long term this will become a track / drift car but not until it is paid and the Benz is at 100%
2. '81 Mercedes 300SD Turbo Diesel - Previous daily, needs some love as it sat for 10+ years. Lots of stuff planned for it.
3. '05 Yamaha V Star 1100cc Custom - Bike for the summer!

If the plan for the BRZ ever comes to fruition I would like to add a truck. A new Tacoma, or if times are good a Raptor, would be perfect.
