Yeah very exciting indeed. Could be good option for people going forced induction instead of the more traditional ecutek route.

I wonder if this does anything with the traction control systems. Being able to control traction control and abs would be pretty sweet.

What would be the advantages of going with LINK vs lets say Haltech 2500 for a motor swap situation?

Link has a much more open CAN system, but it mostly comes down to personal preference.

I just got my Link ECU installed along with the LAMBDA sensor. I'm in the process of rewiring my Flex Fuel sensor from the EVAP line to the ECU over to the rear O2 sensor port since that won't be used anymore. Wish me luck. This is being paired with a new JDL turbo installation and I'm excited to get it officially tuned and dyno'd.

It still makes me sad that ECUTek took the route they did. I guess I could sell my JDL 421 header along with the ECUTek and my old ECU if anyone is looking for an upgrade.

Nice to see people getting the Link plug in. Looks like a great setup.

Do you happen to know if the obd port still works ? I would love for the plug in ecu to be able to pass inspection but I’m sure it’s not possible lol

I am 99% sure that it works like OEM. In fact, I'm counting on it since I have a datalogger to plug in to mine.

This unit doesn't support using the OEM O2 sensors so I'm going to say that there is no state that does emissions testing where this car would pass.

Well keep us posted ! As for the inspection I assumed they would at least need to see there is no codes/cel. But yeah over in Ireland they look to pull info from the port sorry don’t have the details at hand.

Anyway sorry for the thread jack lol

If all they do is check for CEL codes then I would imagine it would probably work. If they check for visual things like Cats and sensors then it definitely wouldn't pass.
