Blox Uel, tomei uel, plm uel, skunk2 uel. Which is best?
Hi i am looking into buying a used header and these are the options. My jdl uel catted header blew a cat and has cracks so i need a new one but catless this time.
Anybody weigh in on which one has best quality & power gains. I am supercharged by edelbrock. Looking for a good quality uel header. Any opinions and thoughts are welcome thank you. |

IMHO: Knock the cat out of the jdl and have the cracks welded up.

The PLM is a poorly made copy of a JDL.

Blox is absurdly priced if memory serves correct. Tomei would be my pick out of what you listed.
JDL catless has shown to make solid gains as well if you don't want to have your header welded up. |

I am looking at a used blox uel for 250$ so price isn’t bad just wanted to know if it was good quality |

You can also consider the Gruppe-S UEL. Just like the Tomei but a bit cheaper.

I run a used Gruppe-S header before and later with my Edelbrock. I had it ceramic coated before install and have enjoyed it for approximately 20k miles. It remains in pristine condition. I can’t comment on its power gains as it was added along with a JDL front pipe and a re-tune which as a package woke the car nicely. I continue running it into it’s fourth summer.
