What do you think of the current colors? Future colors
What do you guys think of the current color selection? If I had to choose right now I probably go with either Halo White (though I wish it was Panda or Super White) or Pavement Gray. I WISH they would bring back the Thunder Gray color from the 2018 black edition, that would be an instant buy for me. I don't even know if Toyota makes that color anymore though, looks like every model car that used to have that same gray got replaced with that new Lunar Rock color. I might be waiting on the 2023 model year GR86 anyway, since I'm planning on saving as much as I can for about a year and using that money as a down payment along with the money I get for selling my current daily. Maybe there will be a new color or two by then? Probably not but who knows.

I'm a big fan of this grey and also Subaru's Series.Gray. The current colors either lack depth or don't have enough gloss or pop? Even the neptune blue video from the other thread has this issue for me. I don't know how else to describe it, but the colors LOOK very basic. Even though the previous special greys are flat greys, they have a lot of pop and gloss. Lava and Hakone green looked great as well. I hope they bring some good colors for future special editions.

But overall the colour palette is still pretty boring. |

Sadly, boring colors seem to be the nature of the industry with only a handful of exceptions. While I wound up really liking my Whiteout FR-S and think it still looks great, I'd love some better choices.
I hope we get another Hakone edition. I'd snap that up in a heartbeat. |

I would like mine in Mazda's Soul Red please or BMW's Long Beach Blue. Stunning colours...
Never been that excited on the colours offered for original car or this one, like Dake said they are pretty bland. I will probably take mine in red, although Pavement grey might be nice but I have to see it in person. |

So for a couple cars I've owned I strayed away from my usual silver, my last car nd2 RF I went with their polymetal grey. Nice color, really suits the car, but it just kept nagging at me that it wasn't silver.
The Neptune blue is very eye catching and I think captures the spirit of the car the best along with the red. But, I'm going silver. Because I'm boring and I like silver. |

Now that I know the Premium gets the upgraded stereo (not a huge deal my last-gen BRZ still sucked).
The duck tail and Neptune are probably going to sway me to the GR. |

I'm between halo white and trueno blue. Leaning towards white. Owned a red frs before and really didn't like how showy it was. Most of it was in my head, I'll admit. This time around I want something subdued. I don't care about showing off or whatever, just want to have fun under the radar. I'll leave the flashiness for wheels. Planning on halo white with either bronze te37saga or advan GT. Can't decide!
Edit: If hakone green or any other decent green color were available, it'd be a no brainer. If there's ever a green edition that comes out I may need to trade in the white... Otherwise I'll be happy. |

I feel like HKS's orange was a big hit. I could see them using it, but they already did orange with the 860.
I'm seeing a lot of green on cars these days. Yellow would be nice. They haven't done that yet. |
