I have Eibach sportline springs it lowered it 1.4 in and i think it rides better now. I have always had good luck with Eibach though.

Race comp engineering makes some killer springs for subarus. Eibach or Hotchkis usually have a decent all around spring for reasonable price.

If the springs are fresh they'll settle a bit lower. Don't forget there is a "too low" and it happens quickly.

H&R super sport is a pretty low drop for springs and also Tein S Tech. I have H Tech going on mine don't feel comfortable going over an inch.
