You could run the worlds biggest turbo and still get great fuel economy, its all about staying in vaccum

^^ Bigger turbos are actually better for fuel economy since it's easier to stay in vacuum.

Yall know, honestly, its not how big the turbo is. It could be a gt35r with a hot side of a 1.05 or with a .61, the smaller the hot side, the faster it will hit boost, the higher the a/r, the slower it will hit boost. Thus the point of the quick respose or the lag. Thats it. Doesn't matter what the trim is. Just FYI.

I dont mean to steal anyone's thunder but you can't go by the MPG gauge on the car.

The only real way to calculate gas mileage is by filling the gas tank and resetting your trip and tracking the actual mileage.

Next time you feel up you take your mileage and divide by the amount of fuel you put in the car.

That's impressive! I calculated my mpg when I was running 8psi 93octane and got 26mpg. That's with "regular" driving and a few ride alongs for people.

turbocharging increases the efficiency of the motor, so as long as you're driving the same way you did before, your fuel economy can only get better. once you start hitting higher boost levels, then that's where your mpg's starts to go down.
