Quick question on any state inspections/inspectors

Hey, guys idk if this topic would go under this topic but ima give it a try. Does anyone know if you are a state inspection license holder and currently working at a shop, can you, yourself do a state inspection on your own personal vehicle?

It totally and completely depends on the state's laws. I bet there are states that have laws against it. Nowadays where you have to hook the car up to the computer there isn't that much crap you can pull, and no one would be dumb enough to do anything to risk the shop getting shut out of that gravy train.

In Vermont there's no issue with this. But you're liable if you get pulled over with something that shouldn't have passed inspection and you fudged paperwork.

Yes well in Texas you can and no computer (non-emissions county)
But if your are pulled over you can possibly get two tickets one from a cop and if its major one from your State Auditor.
