P0616 after speaker install

Hey guys, please excuse me if I don't format this correctly or post in the wrong sub section. I recently changed out my speakers are the front doors for a set of polks. This the second time I have done this, the first pair were jbl. They didn't quite sound as well as I hoped. Anyways, after testing it and verifying that the speakers work I took it for a test drive. I had a check engine light pop up and the code was p0616. I'm wondering if you guys know a good place to start for diagnosing why this had happened. I'm not entirely sure if this was inevitably going to happen or if it happened because I changed the speakers out. Thanks.

As far as I'm aware I don't have any shorts. It was pretty standard remove a few bolts put the positives and negatives back on and bolt it back in. My battery is roughly 4 years old. I'm actually going to get the voltage checked on it very soon. The car starts but when I turn the key once it does nothing then turn the key again it kicks over. I read somewhere about something similar on an sti thread that there is possibly a fuse on the driver's fuse box that blew and they fixed the cel by replacing it but they only said it was the tenth fuse down and not what the fuse was intended for.

4 years is getting a bit long in the tooth, I'd check voltage for sure. Did that behavior start prior to speaker install? Code looks like it's thrown if relay doesn't get the voltage it wants.

I just had it checked along with the starter and alternator. Everything looked good and no problems there. I checked the ECU IG1 & ECU IG2 fuses and checked them with a fuse tester and they were good. I didn't notice any problems before I installed the speakers.

For anyone wondering. I figured it out. I decided just to check anything and everything that was associated with the ignition ecu and starter. Eventually I got to the starter 1 fuse under the hood and found that it was bad. From all the cranking to test the speakers and tuning it must have blown. Mostly posting this as an FYI for anyone searching the forum for anything similar. Thanks for the responses guys.
