tS color choice?
Thinking of ordering the tS (yea!)
but have not seen one in person yet, I will be able to see Monday at dealership (blue). I am leaning to order but I can't decide on color between Black and Blue. On the one hand the black looks tight since all is black: bumper, mirrors, wheels but I hear black is super hard to keep clean. On the other hand the blue looks nice but I don't know if I like the black accents like on the bumper etc.. Any of you guys have suggestions?

Blue, definitely. I have had one black car, never again. Always need cleaning and they show every single scratch and imperfection.
Also I saw a picture of a black ts.... It just looked bad IMO. Specifically the spoiler to trunk transition. |

I had a black FRS before my series yellow. So hard to keep clean. But it helped me discipline myself on the art of detailing.

If white was an option, no questions asked white, but if you are left with blue or black... I'd go blue 100%, you can't see the body lines and etc with black, plus super hard to keep clean and scratch free appearance.

I originally wanted white, but chose blue due to availability. It has grown on me and now I couldn't imagine getting any other color. Black was never in the running for me because it hides all of the unique accents and body lines.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you can’t really “order” a tS.
Also, I have a strong preference to White because in general I like pearl white cars and white cars with black wheels, but I’ve seen every color and I think they all look great. I was actually surprised at how nice the black one looked because I don’t have too strong of a preference towards black. If I had to choose one for a museum I’d probably choose black because it looks stunning when it shines, indoor or outdoor. WRB sports a nice contrast to the red accents from the interior, bumpers, and brake calipers. White does a nice job bringing out the lip kits, wing, and wheels. Besides my strong preferences, I chose white because when my dad bought his 2013 FR-S it was the hardest color to find, so the pearl white has a sort of sentimental value to me as well.

My black FR-S is the first and last black car I will ever own. It looks gorgeous when it's clean. Unfortunately it never is.

I never had a white car, they have one at one dealership near me so I can look at that.

Let us know how it works out for you because all 500 have already been built, but New England States have a different distribution process than the rest of U.S. Most likely they are letting you choose the color and they just find an existing one somewhere.

Hey Rai:
I'll agree with jeffchap here: Quote:
My '17 WRB looked great nearly all the time, even when dusty. And my CWP tS still looks good with about 2 weeks of road and brake dust (even considering we recently had the roads repaved around my house). But the CWP just washed and waxed, and glinting in the SoCal sun? Amazing. Good luck, Rai! You're gonna love being part of the Twin Family! Dok |

Thanks, though black looked tight but decided on blue or white because of how hard it’ll be to keep black car clean looking as I’m not used to washing the car that often.

If you get the black one, it will be much rarer.
105 Crystal Black Silica, vs 225 World Rally Blue built. |

If you pick the color of your car based on other people's opinions you're gonna have a bad time.
