Knockoff spoilers that use stock bolt holes?

Hey guys,

So I promised myself I wouldn't spend any money on this car since it was supposed to be my little commuter car, however, I'm starting to feel like a 19 year old with the stock Sporttech (limited) spoiler. (No offense to the 19 year olds on here!)

Anyone know if there are any knockoff (ebay or the likes) smaller lip/Shelby style spoilers that utilize a couple (at least) of the stock spoiler holes? I'm not drilling into that trunk, and only using tape is a little too F&F for my liking.

Thanks guys, appreciate it!

Well since nobody on ebay seems to understand what I am asking: "No, you only have to use double sided tape" "...totally not what I asked".

Looks like the best option is to grab the cheapest painted spoiler I can and do some body work on it.. Sigh. I was hoping to have left body work behind (awful job) with my other car.

The TRD covers all stock spoiler holes, I have one for sale, painted WRB though.

Dang, if it was Silver I would have actually probably have driven over and grabbed it off you. Unfortunately I can't justify buying that then painting it for this car. Thanks though!

IIRC, I don't think any knock-offs and only a few original aftermarket spoilers use bolts. I bought a true TRD spoiler and it has two bolts that I believe do not use the bolt holes from the OEM spoiler.

Someone here also bought the TRD spoiler and did not want to drill his trunk so he took the bolts off of the spoiler and just used the tape.

The ducktail I have that I got from modbargins used the stock holes and double sided tape.

This is not the exact same as mine. Mine didnt have the peices the jut down the trunk but the top is the same setup that I have

I have a TRD lip spoiler and trimmed off the 2 studs to only use the double sided tape. Came with black stickers to seal the stock holes.

Hey guys, so I bought a cheap painted OEM spoiler on eBay and it came with the spoiler and screws, but not a template. There are already holes underneath of the spoiler where I’m assuming I need to drill holes. Thing is, I don’t really want to do this myself or pay a couple hundred for installation if I don’t have to. Would using double sided tape be ok for this? The 4 holes underneath the spoiler are really small so I wouldn’t think it would be a problem, but I’m not completely sure so that’s why I’m asking you guys lol

I can't be 100% sure, but I think some strong double sided tape should be more than enough to have it be secure to the trunk. A lot of spoilers are held on with just double sided tape.

Just to update, put on the double sided tape despite the holes being on the bottom of the spoiler for the screws. Everything has held up very nicely even with carwashes and heavy rain in my area
