The rear quarter angle is great, but what's up with the front? It's like over designed and under designed at the same time.

front looks like they wanted that aggressive newer vette style...and then the designer decided throw in lotus styling along with it.

Maybe because the designer seems like they wanted cues from a McLarens, Corvette, and Porches throughout the car.

Agreed. I think it's the headlights. They manage to look busy and bland at the same time, the front end lines look nice, but without the aggressive 86 triplet style headlight, or the more upright Porsche style headlight, the popped up fenders just looks funny.

Now that I look at the headlights more, could they have been trying to put an updated/"modern" spin on the S7 headlights?

Hrngggg the original is so gorgeous. The more i look at this new one, the more utterly derivative it looks.

Honestly if they just stuck the old headlights on, updated with projectors it would be perfect. Also the OG is way hotter.

Edit: I take that back. I like the shape of the new headlights, it's the contents I dislike. If they updated the contents to look similar, with newer tech, I'd like them more.

The S7 was a ridiculously expensive car at the time iirc. I think this 1 will be more affordable compared to it, but still expensive. Haha

Getting old school Porsche vibes from the rear

I still wish Saleen ended up making this:

Should be interesting to see if this China incarnation of Saleen plays production games like Steve's original company.
