The limited-edition 2018 BRZ tS, which stands for “tuned by STI” is the best handling BRZ edition ever with extensive performance and tuning upgrades from Subaru Tecnica International, making it a perfect fit to go from the showroom to the track.

The BRZ tS is the best-handling BRZ ever. Subaru Tecnica International engineers have improved on the already legendary handling of the BRZ. The limited edition 2018 Subaru BRZ tS, which stands for “Tuned by STI,” features extensive performance upgrades and precision tuning based on decades of STI motorsports experience.
I wonder what tS stands for, and how this model handles compared to the already legendary handling of the BRZ.

Being that production is so limited, and there's a lot of people on the waiting list for the tS, I wonder how many will actually end up in PWC?

My guess is these won't sell out instantly like the RA will.

At least one team has taken Subaru up on the contingency offer with 4 builds currently and the possibility for more.

I think these cars will clean up the TCA class. Kevin Anderson is doing the prep and his cars last year were winners with the FRS. I remember one youtube vid of I think it was the Laguna race where he was so far in front that they were focusing on P2 and 3 that were actually racing each other.

It was like "Oh and there's that Scion that won..."

I wonder if those builds are actual tS's (i.e. 4 of the 500) or they're shells built up to tS spec? If they're shells, it'd be cool if Subaru is making all the tS parts available...

It all comes down to BoP. Rumor is RealTime is fielding several Si's this year, so expect those to be far more competitive as well. There's a shit ton of behind the scenes politics to making your car fast.
