Buddy club spec 2 catback

UPDATE :
Just installed my CNT UEL headers on the car and it is loud on full throttle
But not to bad just cruising .
I will try and post some videos up later tonight Incase anyone cares to know how it sounds.
Of course the header install was easy up to the part of remove if it from the overpipe and torquing that one bolt that you need a swivel to get to.
Next step will be getting a OFT so I can tune and possible do the e85 in the future

Hey everyone just installed a buddy club spec 2 on my 14' frs auto and gotta say it sounds pretty good being just a catback.
I have looked up YouTube videos of the exhaust and really couldn't justify the sound thru video. So I said "f" it lol and pulled the trigger.
I picked it up from ft86speedfactory and spoke with David , great service by the way.
Ordered it bout 2 weeks ago and Install was easy for a first timer like my self. The hangers are the real problem. So far so good I really love the way it sounds honestly I've been missing out for the year I've had her rolling stock exhaust. I'll try and upload photos of the exhaust from cat back and see if I can get a video up of some sort.
I had a couple issues with the exhaust, 1. being is the pipe clamp that comes with the exhaust to connect the muffler with the mid section. Couldn't get it to fit snug so I just got a muffler shop to weld the 2 pieces together. Also it comes with 2 springs to hold the front pipe with the axle back section which I may also have welded because I hear a exhaust leak and on start ups you can hear it clearly.
2. Is the silencer that comes with the exhaust was the wrong size but I am in contact with David at ft86speedfactory and he has messaged buddy club USA directly to see this resolved .
All in all I don't regret the purchase, I always wanted this exhaust and for it to live up to my expectations and sound as great as it does I have no complaints. Sound wise that is lol.
I plan on getting headers down the road and already know it's gonna be brutal on cold starts just from how loud it is now with just exhaust.

Header and Buddyclub is a no go. Installed that combo on my friend's car and we took it off within 5 minutes. There was no way you weren't going to get pulled over.

As for the silencer, they've been known to have slight fitment issues. I grinded mine down a bit to make it fit. Also as you accumulate more carbon in the exhaust, getting the silencer in and out is going to get more difficult.

You would be surprised by how low an exhaust can be with little to no police attention.

In my area we even had a police department giving out illegal exhaust tickets (using local ordinance on a state road, they were called out by an attorney and are now refunding anyone who paid it) and yet there are still tons of people running straight piped 5.0's and Z06's you don't know loud until you've had one of those fly by your open window haha

I wish there was video of the header / buddy club combo. Ive seen a video of a dude running the tomei 60 and the whole header back and that was racecar loud. Sounded good to me lol but i like loud. Ya my car is only driven for work and back mon-fri so morning start up's are the loudest. Even for that 30sec i can imagine the neighbors complaining . But i leave at 7am so its legal to be loud at that time
