Thoughts on exhaust setup?

Hey guys, I'm planning to get an exhaust system consisting of ACE A 350 headers, JDL Ultra Quiet front/overpipe, HKS hi power racing single exit.

What are your guys' opinions on this? Will it be too loud?

I'm trying to keep the weight low as well. So single exits are usually what I'm looking for. I'll definitely post a video once I finish my exhaust though.

Most available single exits = LOUD. Paired with catless header like Ace's might get TOO loud. (seen cases of reinstalled stock catback or buying again this time some from quietest catbacks, when installed catless header after initially seeming fine noise volume wise aftermarket catbacks ..)

I don't think your setup will be particularly quiet, but it really depends on the total volume of the resonators in your system.

I've tested the Blitz single exit exhausts and neither of them were loud, but the high flow cat on the JDL front pipe is not much of a resonator.

The ace header has the overpipe included, and even with the JDL ultra quiet front pipe it will still be loud with that catback. Most likely drone a bit too.

I'm not too worried about drone. It's just a setup I've never seen in person or heard in video so I'm not sure how loud it will be. My friend has headers, test pipes, and a buddy club on his S2k and that's way too loud.

Anyone have any suggestions on other catbacks but keep in mind the weight has a big factor for me as well.

Thanks.

I used to run the Ultraquiet FP from JDL. Went back to stock because i added JDL UEL headers. The thing about ACE headers is that they are technically quieter than UEL. A lot of that has to do with the fact that they have an EL design. One of the guys in my group is running Invidia EL headers and the sound literally did not change. Didnt get louder either. I'd recommend putting the setup together with the stock fp and then adding it if you decide you want a bit more volume.

I have this front pipe, just waiting on an over pipe to install everything. From what I have seen on Youtube it's a quiet front pipe.

So you switched the FP back to stock because it was too loud?

Damn I was hoping the Ultraquiet FP would help with a catless header. My plan was to do a Gruppe-s catless or JDL UEL , UQFP, and Magnaflow catback.

May just do the header and a tune and call it a day since the gains should still be good.
