Help a friend running EL Tune on JDL UEL headers

Hi all,
thank you all for this great community we have here, lot of smart and collaborative folks on here learning from each other. i have a question, both my friend and i have JDL UEL headers, catted, he has Borla and i Have ARK catback.

i am running the OFT 2.076 UEL stage 2 tune, while he is running a UNiCHIP tune he got for his stock EL headers. i have been trying to convince him to switch to the OFT UEL tune, but he insists that UNICHIP tech told him he is just fine.

i know the cars sound different, his UEL headers sound rough/raw with the EL tune due to the VVT tables, maybe the sound is cool, just curious, does running the EL tune with UEL headers leave power/TQ on the table ? is it strickly a sound thing? is there power to be gained/lost? what about reliability?

just curious, i am guessing he is not the only one running EL tune on UEL headers.

thanks again in advance,
Neil
