Black in 6 months plus or orange now

I have a black gts on order but think / fear i will have to wait 6 months or more for delivery. Today i found an orange gts on the lot in a regional town. I'm pretty ready to buy it. Delivery next week to melbourne or delivery versus who knows when? Questions this raises though:

Orange doesnt seem that popular. It was my third choice. Do any orange owners regret their purchase?

Can i get my deposit back from the dealer? They said i could when i signed up but was that a sales pitch.

Also, i'm still thinking of keeping the black (manual) on order and selling the orange when the black arrives. Given the 86 might go up in price and the current demand does anyone think the depreciation will be almost nothing? I guess my girlfirend could have the orange one. Hmm matching 86s. To weird?

Your thoughts are welcomed.

Get Orange now . I think the orange will be a highly sought after colour eventually.

Wow. Lots of quick replies. Thanks. Think that made my mind up. The orange is an auto. I didnt mention it because i didnt want to get into the whole auto v man thing. Personally i like them both and think they are both execllent. I'm kind of indifferent. One thing i would recommend is ringing around all the dealers. Some were very fourth coming with information. I called about 7 dealers all over australia bewteen 5.30 and 7pm tonight. Got an option on a red auto gts manual for august (sold in ten mins before i could decide), another orange gts auto but with aero, possible option on a black demo for august (waiting to hear) and this one.

The more i look at orange the more it grows on me. Still i can justify anything at the moment to get it early. Im considering seriously getting the orange but keeping the black on order. Then i can decide later to sell and change colour. This way i dont have to wait and i get my choice. But will i lose a lot on depreciation. My feeling is i wont.

I thought the Hot Lava looked awesome in person, and was definitely my second choice. Go for it!
