Reflash/Reprogramming the VCS

Is anyone aware of any research in to reprogramming or reflashing the VCS controller?

I'm interested in permanently disabling traction control and stability control, but keeping ABS.

Not interested in pedal dances, or mostly off, or removing the ABS fuse.

Closest I'm aware of is the pedal dance emulator box, but you still have to press a button, still get the dashboard lights, and still have to start the car a second time after the car warms up.

Thanks!

Pitty. I'd love to see MY2017's track mode alike backported to earlier cars, both due wider slip angles allowed and due less abrupt corrections. As VSC is mode i drive at on public roads, that is 99% of time, i'd be glad to pay for some .. custom VSC flash if such would have existed.

And pay for repairs if overestimated own skills & luck which accounts also actions of others on the road. Today i passed 6 crashes due snowstorm and unplown roads. I don't want to be among those despite your offtopic remark and will leave pedal dance for controlled environment like track.

What do people do with cars that don't have nannies? Simply crash them to smithereens? Believe it or not, there once was a time whenNO vehicle had these stupid nannies. It was the same time that men were men. If you're the type needs them to bail you out, in a 200hp car, you really shouldn't be driving at all.

Yet nannies also decreased average crash count and most of average drivers ar far from ones blessed with elite skills. You may dislike that, you may have skills better then nannies, fine. And this thread is about VCS firmware, not about driving skills bragging.

Very cool!

Would be neat to be able to program some of those features in to the stock VCS box.

The 86Nanny is capable of disabling the nannies instantly on startup, regardless of engine temp, and without pressing a button.
