Portland friends.. Need advice on VLESS bumper

Guys, I've been researching a new bumper again (this time JDM.. my mourning period over APR is done) and I have my eyes on VLESS:

http://bespoke.wpengine.netdna-cdn.c...ESS-bumper.jpg

Couple of things really attract me to this:

1. There is a slit right in the front that could function like a "ram air" of sorts for a custom CAI I'm planning (right to a cone filter).

2. It removes the Scion emblem body line which works out in my favor since I'm planning on de-badging.

3. It maintains the stock parking/turn/fog light setup up front for the FR-S. Huge plus.

4. It doesn't significantly diverge from the car's natural body lines. Huge plus.

5. Reasonable cost for a JDM part.

Now I want opinions:

1. What do you think about the company, VLESS and about the actual design of the bumper?

2. Would you coat it with Line-X (resists scruffs, chips, etc), paint it or wrap it in a dry carbon (matte look) wrap (not big on this since it wouldn't be the real thing)? Keep in mind I currently have dry carbon fenders and trunk (planning on dry carbon hood and roof next year).

Thanks in advance for opinions/thoughts!

Looks pretty neat! Aside from the vent slot on the top part of the bumper. But as for the "dry carbon" wrap, i wouldn't. Real dry carbon is a lot more expensive than carbon fiber and it's not a wrap. If you have actual dry carbon fenders and trunk props. I would honestly not even bother wrapping in "carbon fiber". Doesnt look great and provides no purpose other than to try to fool others into thinking you have actual cf parts which in turn makes you look ricer ^_^. Plus, its a jdm part, Paint it and then get its get a clear bra or line-x. Just my opinon

Looks sexy, also deletes the fangs with a sweet diffuser-esque lip. Vents look purpose built. I approve! Plus it has side markers.

Do the vents under the parking lights feed brake ducts? If not they could totally be made to do so. Pretty aggressive!

If the bumper is fiberglass then it would be easy. Polyurethane might be a different story.

I like aggressive looking kits. Only part I'm unsure of is the rectangular openings. Could be refined a bit by making more of a inward scoop than just a hole with no internal work. Once again if it's fiberglass it can be worked with.

Portland friends.. Need advice on VLESS bumper

I'm going to check with VLESS to get the lowdown on those openings and material. Maybe they can make a dry carbon bumper?
My thought process is that even if it was twice the cost, in the end it would even out because of prep, paint, fitment, etc that I wouldn't do to a carbon part.

The bumper is FRP. The vents can be used for brake ducts. I got email confirmation from VLESS.

Would someone who knows Japanese do a proper translation (I don't trust Google) of the optional accessories on this page please?:

VLESS original brake ducts, the hose is bought at a home improvement store, 75 gauge pipe. Take off washer tank on the left to make it a easier installation.

Is that it?
