Engine Load Comp (MP)

Can someone explain to me what the table is and what it effects please.

Today I decided to Zero Out the engine load comp based on manifold pressure and RPM and nonetheless, I was very impressed with the results.

Downshifting, cruising, and wot was improved. AFR was good and no knock.

Keep in mind my MAF has been scaled and vvt has been changed to accomdate my header as well as some timing tweaks in the .4-.8 range.

Thank you very reading!

Did some reading... it effects load/fueling calculations. (Obviously)

Using the VGI worksheet with the values zeroed out I'll do a test and see what the worksheet spits out at me.

Than apply those changes and see how she drives.

If anyone could explain why driveabilty improved that'd be awesome thanks.

Fuel trims? Are good. Just could use a slight re scale due to the temperature change. But yes you're right about the axies... idk if that's the plural form of axis or not? Lol

It seems to impact in closed loop and is indeed a load compensation table based on MAP.

You change it the same way as the MAF, using fueling error.

Would the vgi worksheet tool be useful for this? Say I 0 out the table than do my logging. Or would it be better to apply the correction by hand

as its map based ie pressure compensation you may not see effects of zeroing table unless the air pressure ie altitude changes

I use the log stats but I add parameters to my log file for me to be able to do this so I can play with the data. The engine load comp tab does work well though.
