Edelbrock SC Questions I Had (that were answered by buying one).
As you've likely noticed this forum has a wealth of knowledge right at your fingertips. It also has some knowledge that is right on the ragged edge of opinions like every other forum, conversation, or anything else ever.
Below are the questions I had that were either answered through searching and reading (you've tried searching right?) or asking people with such. Each bugged me prior to buying, but I bought it anyway. Maybe they'll help someone? Note that my opinions are worth no more than any other semi-anonymous low-post pleeb. I am in the first 1000 miles and as such the below answers may change some:
Lastly, do I like it? Hell yeah. Last edited by rubbercow; 12-21-2016 at 07:40 PM. Reason: Clarified #3 |

7k on stock clutch and no slipping here. I also run both stock tires/rims and 225 RS3 track rims on the rear. The 215s are a bit small but I love the 225 with a good compound.

4. Why stagger your tires instead of going 245 square?
5. And maybe more for @CSG Mike, does the Delicious Dbox address these issues, or was that made to address something else? |

5. Sort of. A Delicious FNG will address the issues; the D-box smooths out signalling, unlocking extra output "for free". |

My gas mileage got murdered. As did some other people who've installed it. No clear explanation yet. I've found Topher to be pretty reachable but he only deals with the mechanical bits of the kit. Calibration@edebrock.com (nameless...) was quick to send over tunes but less quick on remedying some of the issues I've been seeing, such as bucking. I guess there's only so much you can do remotely. |
