Chassis shot from Toyota in AU

Someone at work linked me this today:

It's a pretty awesome shot. Not sure if it was posted before or not, I'm on here quite often and haven't seen that yet.

So what's it say when it's my first day here and I've seen that?

From the AU Toyta interactive page. Pretty awesome nonetheless

Neat page. The scrolling doesn't work well with my current browser position, but it's well done. Performs well. It's also got a little bit of lol for an older AE86 owner:

Um.. why is there smoke coming out of the front tires? Did he blow the motor?

I am surprised at the amount of structure in the passenger footwell running longitudinally to the base of the rear door pillars (basically what the passengers heels would strike when seated). Very interesting.

How is this thing nearly 50/50 weight balance. Engine and trans are basically centered over the front wheels or perhaps slightly aft. Other than the diff and fuel tank what causes the back wheels to have so much weight on them?

That's a coolant leak.

If my memory serves me right, I believe the Nissan 240SX was also 53/47 weight balance. Fair warning...it did not go in the snow. It was basically hope you were near home when it started to snow, because if you weren't you were not going far.
