Unhappy CEL + Losing Traction Light on after E85??? (Picture included)

Hey everyone, I really hope that you guys can help me here. So I just got my car tuned at my local tuner for E85. Runs great, the extra power and low price of gas is amazing!

Fast forward a day or two and both the CEL and my losing traction control light come on and are solid. Does anyone know how to defeat this? Because of it, I can't use my cruise control, when I try to turn it on, it's a solid orange color instead of green.. Does anyone have any tips?

I've had my tuner reset the ECU and the light came back. I also disconnected the battery for about 15 minutes and the light went away, but came back like 5 minutes later after the car stopped stalling and finally learned the E85 again.

Thank you to anyone in advance! I will be checking this post in the morning, and if I get any quick replies I'll respond soon!

Nothing else installed on the car. Only other stuff I have done to it is TRD Intake, and TRD Exhaust.

It shouldn't need learning and shouldn't be stalling until it does. My guess would be fuel trims maxed out based on that statement alone.

The computer does learn, it's strange to see it lol. It has to "learn" the new gas. My Tuner had to do it, and I have to do it when I reset the ECU. It turns on, it stalls, it learns, it turns on, it idles.

You need to get the code scanned and correct the issue. If it is going into "limp mode" (trac light on and no cruise) it could be a wheel sensor to a cam issue and just about any conceivable thing in between. You can't just defeat the CEL and carry on. Could be a minor problem with a 5 minute fix or you could throw a rod (or again anything in between). Get it scanned and come back with the code and we can help.

The ECU takes about 100 miles of driving to learn the fuel and like was said it should not be stalling while doing so.

Drive as little and as calmly as possible until you pull that code. There is a risk (small but still a risk) of damaging something.

I'm fully aware how the ECU works, there's not that much "learning" that goes on. Your tuner should have done a better job. If the fuel trims are so rubbish it stalls, then just bloody correct it.

Oh, well I'll let him know next time he tunes it. He told me it was the first time tuning for E85 on an FRS.

System too lean means you're not getting enough fuel, or an exhaust leak which is allowing too much air in. Or maybe even something else entirely like a faulty O2 sensor

I would check for intake leaks, exhaust leaks, MAF sensor, o2 sensor
