STI Seat

Hi all sorry if i shouldn't be asking this here but i'll go ahead and ask anyways. I got a good deal on an 05' STI, problem is it has a cigarette burn hole on driver seat. I called two upholstery shops and emailed them pictures for reference and they both say they will cork it and patch the top with "matching material" bigger problem is they say it will get undone over time. They say they'l do it for about 90 bucks. What options do i have if i want it done RIGHT?

If you don't want the fix the upholstery experts suggest, you'd have to go all new skin....and good luck with that.

RIGHT to me means all new faces wherever that material is. You can order Alcantara directly from Gulf Fabrics or JPM or OverlandDesigns. You are looking at ~$115/yard for the perforated stuff plus whatever the upholstery shop charges to disassemble, restitch and reassemble the seats.

Hope you got them really cheap...
