intake and radiator suggestions
long story short i got in an accident.... i rear ended someone, it was a Rav4 and nothing happened to his car. Mine on the other hand, the whole front end got unhinged and my hood got folded up.
Anyway the shop is telling me i need a new radiator and a new air box (among other things), says the fan is still good. Now im thinking of going with a RKsport short ram air hood. Im not really sold on it yet but im looking for suggestions on a new intake and new radiator. The hood says its has the outlet where the stock airbox is, so im looking more at systems that use the same position in the engine bay. Im thinking of going with a Injen Sp short ram system with a koyo radiator, im wondering if anyone has had any experience with these products and if they work well together Alternately i was thinking of going with a Mishimoto radiator and cold air intake, and have the same question. Im assuming since they are from the same company, they would work well together Any suggestions on a better setup? My last question is, if i got aftermarket with the radiator do i have to upgrade my fans as well or should the stock still do the job? (This is my first time creating a post so i hope i put it in the right section) |

Koyorad fits in stock location with stock fans, I didn't have any fitment issues. When I was researching I found mixed results with the Mishimoto radiator.

Unless you're able to rescale MAF, Grimmspeed is the only aftermarket intake I'd recommend. It also does quite well considering how little gain there is to be found in an intake.
