CAR mag production review

Nothing new here, it concurs with a few other reviews that the street ride is pretty firm, and claims the frameless windows increase noise levels. |

I tried to expand my Magazine selection and picked up Car Magazine. I was unimpressed. It's more a magazine for people who want to buy everyday cars. I'm not worried about window noise. :P

Can't be worse then my current couple-years-old frameless windows.

I don't hear any noise in my car coming from my frame-less windows, unless its because I'm hearing that damn seat belt chime or maybe cause I turn the volume up from my ipod so I don't have to hear the stupid chime.
Seriously though I don't think a little noise is going to be a deal breaker over hear.

Good gawd the frameless windows in my MR2 make so much noise.... I replaced the window seals and adjusted them, too but to little avail. I would've preferred framed windows in this car but hey, I didn't engineer it!

I've never been bothered by the frameless windows on my 05 LGT. Then again, I usually can't hear much over the humming of the tires (Dunlop Star Spec Z1). Although, I don't think I noticed anything either when I swapped over to winter tires (Dunlop 3D). Go figure.
Like what other people have said, just turn the radio up a little bit more and you'll never notice it. |

My 2001 Impreza had frameless windows and they never gave me any problems for the 10 years I owned it.
