ZA1JD00C Update with EcuTek

I installed my headers and of course I'm getting a CEL so I thought that I could update my car to the latest rom za1jd00c and disable the dtc to remove the cel until I get a real tune.

My question tho, where do I get the latest rom za1jd00c from EcuTek, it's not in the folder, except in the RaceRom folder.. I don't have / want RaceRom.

Also to disable the DTC in RomRaider I need the za1jd00c definitions I guess, any explanation on where to get that ?

I'm new to this, thanks for your help.

I don't have any of the D00 ROMs or Racerom patches. The highest for C type is B01 which will be fine. You could flash a ripped D00 ROM from a Tactrix user if ECUtek sees it as compatible.

BTW, it's worthwhile adding the Racerom patch to the ROM as it enables improved logging even if you don't want the extra ROM features. You can only do that on an ECUtek supplied ROM though.

@Ryan86, the most up-to-date G is A01 still. There is A02 compatibility, but it's not auto-downloaded to home users. They may well be available to master tuners though.

I have tried loading the D00G rom in my 2014 car and got lots of issues

limp home mode and U0155 CEL, disabled U0155 code (no comms to instrument panel) in rom got rid of limp home mode but then after a short time got another code P0620 alternator start circuit/pulse error. unable to clear.

Car drove ok and all logging looked fine instrument panel fine, alternator seemed fine voltages ok but I am fairly convinced things have changed in the MY 2015 car that comes with the D00G rom

Never had any CEL on A01G based roms prior to loading D00G roms. and once I went back to A01G based roms no more CEL's or codes.

you quite welcome to try loading up a DOOG into your car as it might be some weird problem with my car. the DOOG rom is attached to end of first post in Tactrix thread below.

If your on an earlier rom than A01G then its worth upgrading to A01G as the compatibility is proven and A01G roms have transient retard to protect DI Seals earlier roms did not.

Is D00C equivalent of D00G but for a different region ?

Is there any benefits from that Rom or I should just use the A01 rom but for my region ?

Thanks for all your answers.

Using an out of region ROM could cause issues, so I wouldn't do it. There is an A02G about but it seems that no-one has pulled it. ECUtek confirms it's compatible though with pre D00 ECUs.
