Hit-N-Run, now undriveable.. Help..

Hey guys, so my car got into a hit n run the other day, basically now, my car is undriveable as they got my fender pushed in tucked next to my driver's side wheel.. everytime I tried driving it, my wheel would scraped against the sidemarkers and the fender. What should I do here? Should I get a new fender and get it painted or just tried popping it back out?

Btw anyone here is familiar with taking out the fender on this car? Please comment.. if you're in Los Angeles area.. any help would be appreciated.

Just claim to issuance it a compressive damage so your insurances premium doesn't go up.

I had this happened to my previous car. The damage was pretty substantial, so I claimed it through my insurance and just paid the deductible. My insurance didn't change. Just call up your insurance and tell them what happened.

If your deductible is under $1000, get it covered under comprehensive.

If your deductible is over $1000, get it covered under comprehensive.

Whether you want to upgrade with this is up to you.

this is 100% not covered under comprehensive, its a collision claim but will usually not raise rates because it was hit unattended. your collision deductible will apply to this loss but its a no fault accident.

BTW to OP: the longer you wait, the less of a shit your insurance company will give you.

Usually with hit and run incidents, you need to file a police report ASAP. The longer you wait, the more it will seem like fraud.

This happened to my previous car 2 years ago in a parking lot. Report it to your insurance ASAP. As said before, the longer you wait, the more they will believe its fraud.

Got it fixed up, I was out 1000 bucks because of my deductible but it didn't raise my insurance since it was in a parking lot and I wasn't driving.
