Maybe Lexus will follow suit and make the next IS-F V6/I6 turbo.

All of that, and it's still a fat pig. Why oh why did the M3 become as big as the older M5. I miss the size of the E46 M3, the E9x just got too big. Personal opinion, obviously, but I'd like to see the M3 go back to being a small, powerful luxury sports coupe.

Gone are the days of dead simple engines devoid of any stupid plastic covers...
Indeed! The E30 M3 remains to be one of my most favorite cars: small, light, and nimble. |

It's amazing to me how BMW cars don't overheat..? Is it cuz there's no space for air? Seriously, I don't even bother doing oil change or even light bulb replacement...

Me too but then they slapped the true enthusiasts in the face by saying its turbocharged. BMW did such a good job with the E60 engine that they should have just used that engine in every future M5 but of course fuel laws and such don't approve of this. Even the E9X V8 with an 8400 rpm redline was more of an M car than the current M5. We fell in love with M cars because they were NA, high revving, manual transmission (mostly) tracks cars for the street. I don't know what's going on at BMW these days...."JEREMY CLARKSON SAYS IT NEEDS MORE POWER! HANS! GET THE TURBOS!"
